The pork served alongside it illustrated the chef’s talent for innovation and elevated execution. Excellent, excellent meal! Went with friends on a Tuesday night and by 6:00 pm the restaurant was filled with laughter and conversations. It was a Tuesday night! Ordered the appetizers to share and we could immediately taste the fusion of the two flavors. It was delicious and prepared very well. I ordered the pork and it came with zucchini. I hate zucchini. The chef made zucchini taste great for the first time in my life. Damn, I was impressed. We all shared our entrees and all of them were impressively delicious. After my first visit, I will definitely be returning with friends and family.

We went on a Thursday after the Perry Street Market, the food was deeply rich and flavorful, the portions were okay for the price and the uniqueness of the place. Truly a fusion that worked well, didn’t feel like I leaned more towards Mexican or Indian food. Drinks were also amazing, my Fiancee had the old fashioned and said it was the best he’s had in Spokane thus far. I had the Baja beet, earthy and unique. Server was phenomenal, checked with us often and communicated to us when our drinks were going to be just an extra second :) Only reason not a 5 star on food- pork belly con mole as an entree (which is what I had ordered) felt more like an appetizer. The red mole sauce and raw salad meshed perfectly and the pork belly was decently crisp. Again just felt more like an appetizer in meat choice and size a bit, I just felt myself wanting more pork flavor and less fat (though it was very good) Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!!

We came in for restaurant week after we saw they they were participating. This restaurant has been on our radar since it opened and thought this was a wonderful way to try it. We had a reservation, but half our party couldn't make it. I called and asked about switching it to a 2 top a little earlier in the afternoon. They were so accommodating to get us a spot with a last minute update. We sat at the bar and ordered immediately. Everything we got was a fantastic, creative culinary creation that was so well thought out. The tres leches cake is one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. The shrimp had the most incredible seasoning on them. The mango addition to the enchiladas added the perfect balance to the dish. And the chai espresso martini was perfection. Everyone was so welcoming and nice, and the design of the restaurant is warm and inviting.

Indicana is the newest meet-cute of Mexico and India flavors. It’s a place to meet a friend and soak up relaxing vibes and flavorful food. The menu offers something for your vegan friend, kids, and steak loving uncle. I look forward to this place playing with aromatic spices and a variety of dishes for years to come!

Popped in around 5 on a work week to finally get to take in this new restaurant in the Perry District. L ie music outside, we opted for outside seating as the place was quieter at this time. It was early so we split some shareables and enjoyed the zero proof beverages. The flavors and spices were spot on. I love a little heat and Indicana brought just that without drowning out the flavors. By the time we left, every seat inside was full. Make your reservation in advance if needed. It was delicious and we will be back again. We had the Rip and Dip, Taquitos, Beef Skewers, Three Amigos(chips with three different dips), and then finished it off with the Chai Tres Leches. Went back a second time. The flavors of the Halibut were so good, but the Halibut itself was dry and overcooked. The Panna Cotta was really good.

I’ve been excited to try this place since they opened. I used restaurant week to finally go and was not disappointed. I made a reservation and was sat at the bar (solo diner) where I was greeted by the sweetest bartender who literally had a smile the whole time working. She genuinely felt happy to be there so that was great to see. I had the lychee blush which was yummy especially with the sugar on the rim. For the appetizer I had the rip curry that I licked clean. For the meal I had the tamarind ribs that did actually fall off the bone. The portion sizes are really nice and bigger than I expected (now I have lunch for tomorrow). For dessert I had the chai tres leches which tasted like a thick cinnamon cake. Wasn’t my favorite but admittedly, I did eat it all pretty fast that I forgot a picture so I guess I did enjoy it haha. I look forward to going back and can’t wait to try other popular dishes!

This place seriously rocks! Been wanting to come in and try this Perry gem and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, the table full of plates resulted in one of the best meals we have had in Spokane and it was just appetizers! Chef / Owner Noreen stopped by the table and shared her inspiration and some of her secrets! She and the staff are so inspiring! Go the next time you are looking for elevated and exciting food. Support great local people like this crew at Indicana!

The location has issue with difficulty parking which is everything in the Perry district. We noticed that the food was unique given the fusion choice, and when trying it the food was so good. I definitely suggest the three amigos. However I feel the food here is something you have to specifically be craving it's a very unique taste. I ordered medium rare steak and potatoes and it came out more medium well. They did comp us for this and did ask if we wanted it remade I just wanted them to know that it wasn't what I ordered so they could work on that, but I don't believe in wasting food so I still ate it, and it was just petty chewy because of the way it was cooked. The manager stated they were working on getting the meat levels down so they appreciated the information. My husband ordered the pollo asada. It was very moist and flavored very well. It was pretty great overall!
